Tonight as I showered some unusually sticky thirty-year-old motorcycle grease off I was exceptionally thankful for my little bottle of Joy. And I come out smelling lemon fresh!
Here is part of the reason I the grease was extra sticky tonight. I am working on the wiring of my new project bike. The thirty-year-old tape I peeled of the forty-six miles of wire had degraded into sticky black goo. This goo then attached itself to my arms all the way to my elbows. Thankfully before the parasite could take over Joy came to the rescue and the parasite died... or did it. Yeah, it probably did. Probably. you can follow along with the build by clicking here.
On another note; Dough has been limping around for a week now and today was the first that the swelling has gone down enough for me to see what was going on. From the looks of the wound I am going to guess bear-knife-fighting. I told her she shouldn't do it but old habits die hard.

I bought it.
I think I'm over the heart ache of selling the V-Star. I found solace in a older, dirtier and bluer Yamaha 650. Here is a sneak peak at the new beauty. It is dark so this is all you get. Enjoy.
